It is making preparation ahead
of time. Seeing things
established. Seeing salvation, deliverance, restoration of hope and freedom. Strongholds coming down. Spiritual warfare. Keeping the
zone clean.
It is preparing the
way of the Lord by making the way clear. Like John the
Baptist.
It is asking God to
show you how to partner with Him.
It is learning Who our God is and Who resides within us. He rides on
the praises of His people. And when His presence
comes, all resistance ceases.
Total surrender
to Him releases authority. It causes demonic restlessness and insecurity when we come with authority. And because we know who our God is, principalities and powers are blocked from their activity.
Matt 11:12: ... the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
We war from
the place of intimacy with God. Declaring the
Word, the truth of God, over a situation.
The people are never the problem. People are
puppets in the enemy’s game. We can see
them brought to freedom. We pray and
then we get to walk it out.
Don’t despise
prayer. Intercession is
for every believer.
God is the
Creator. When we pray, we co-operate
with Him to bring new life, bringing people
into the fullness of who they were created to be and what they were created for.
Know your God. If you know
your God, you will be strong and you will do great exploits.
I know my God
and so I know what is from Him and what is not from Him.
God brings conviction,
not condemnation. Jesus came to
seek and save the lost. He did not
come into the world to condemn the world.
We are more
effective when we know the truth, eg that sickness is part of the curse and I am
blessed, so I don’t receive it.
God is our Source. Responsiveness
to God means to stand in the gap on behalf of those who do not know how to cry out to
Him. Taking control
of my soul and of my body.
God is a Life
Giver, and what He makes is good.
There is a hunger to be
filled with the fullness of God. it is time for us to
grow up, so that the power of
God is released everywhere we go.
The Lord’s
prayer starts: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven". (Matt 6:9 & 10)
Prayer is bringing heaven to earth. The release of
God’s self into you makes you a carrier of His Kingdom. We are priests
in His Kingdom. Carriers of
His glory. It is time to wake
up and realise it. We pave the
way.
So we are to be continually filled
with the spirit of God. Everywhere I
go, I am called to bring life and light, changing the
atmosphere everywhere I go.
God’s covenant
established. All God’s
promises are ‘yes’ and ‘amen’. Using the authority to bind and to loose. We need to use
it. God has given
us dominion over creation, over His world, over nature. We can release the life breath and the substance of God, living inside
a perimeter of blessing instead of bowing to the things that have kept people
in bondage relationally and in other ways.
Intercession is
allowing the Kingdom of God inside of us to be manifested on the outside. Through intercession
God will show us how to live prophetically. Revelation says that the spirit of prophecy is the revelation of Jesus. It is ok to be
learning. Just ask Him
to help you.
People need to
know they have value. Jesus died to
show us our value. When we
release love God can use it. We all need
love. Love in action
is compassion; giving people what they need. But the language
of love is foreign to this culture.

Intercession is
not a burden. It is
privilege. We get to be carriers of
His glory, and ambassadors of
Christ, representing His
government.Releasing His culture, His purpose, his ways.
And like any ambassador, we have diplomatic immunity. Greater is He
that is in us than He that is in the world.
Our God loves. Remember what
Kingdom you represent. We are contending for
a people who have not known how to contend for themselves.
All of creation is groaning, waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.
‘I am reminded
of the covenant that God has made with me and I am reminding you that I know my
covenant. I am serving you notice. Leave in Jesus Name’
Practise these
things. Keep at it
until you see the power and the manifestation of the glory of God.
The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
